Terms of Service

1. Who we are

MyFinesUK ("MyFinesUK", "we", "us") is an independent platform that helps UK drivers find where to check, pay, and dispute penalty charge notices (PCNs), congestion charges, ULEZ/LEZ charges, and road tolls. We are not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any council, Transport for London, National Highways, or any other charging or government authority.

MyFinesUK is operated by MYFINESUK LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16502834), registered office at 61 Bridge Street, Kington, England, HR5 3DJ.

2. What MyFinesUK does and doesn't do

MyFinesUK directs you to the official, real payment and dispute pages run by the relevant council or authority for each charge. We do not collect, process, or hold your payment when you pay a PCN, congestion charge, or toll. That always happens directly on the issuing authority's own page.

Where we don't yet have a direct data connection with an authority, we surface a verified link to their official page instead of an estimate. We do not show placeholder figures presented as real charge data.

3. Your account

To use the MyFinesUK dashboard you create a real account with your email address and a password. Your password is hashed before storage, we cannot see it, and never ask for it outside the app.

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of the vehicle and contact details you save.

4. Subscriptions and payment

MyFinesUK offers a free plan and paid plans with additional features. Where a paid plan is purchased, payment is processed by Stripe; MyFinesUK does not store your card details. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled from within your account settings.

5. Disputing a charge

Any dispute or appeal letter MyFinesUK helps you draft is a starting point for you to review, edit, and submit yourself through the issuing authority's own challenge process. We don't submit disputes on your behalf, and we can't guarantee the outcome of any dispute.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use MyFinesUK to search for or act on vehicles or charges that aren't yours or that you don't have a legitimate reason to manage, and not to attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or reverse engineer the service.

7. No warranty on third-party data

Charge details, deadlines, and dispute processes are set by the relevant council or authority, not by us. We aim for accuracy but can't guarantee that third-party information is always current. Always check the figures on the official page before paying or disputing.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as MyFinesUK changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
